Happy Chinese New Year to you.

I figured better late than never. Thank you so much for your emails and wondering where i've been. I promise to blog more often. I've just been battling a cold! I mean who hasnt. It really got the best of me, but i'm fighting. Russ who works at the station here and my friend Kate both suggested Zicam. I guess is something new and it works. It's been doing me good. I think it would've eliminated it had I started to take it earlier.  So it comes like in different forms. There is the liquid (i got that), spray up your nosey nose (that stuff scares me) and then there is the scarier gel swab. Well, because I figured, you had to suffer a little to get better (weird logic) I got the gel swab thinking... hey this is new, probably a good reason they made it (reason being it works) and i've gotta try it. So I did. The little cotton swab goes in your nose. Disgusting, I know. Kinda weird doing that too. Its not something you want to be caught doing. So yeah, i've been using that and the liquid and tons of cherry cough drops, germx, etc. I dont want to get anyone sick.

.... pause for a second. Now reading up on it online, there are reports that it affects your sense of smell. I havent a problem at all! This says it does shorten your colds. Who knows, i'm okay with it. Hasnt harmed me from what i've been able to tell. Not everything you read on the internet is real.

Today his new CD is out. "What i'm for". He says it's his best so far! He's got a new producer for this one, Dann Huff - who's worked with folks like Faith Hill, Lonestar... a wide variety. From Megadeth to Collin Raye. I love reading up on all this stuff. This is one of the joys of buying the actual cd/album. Opening it up, reading credits, musicians, who wrote what, where... :) Beats a download off the internet to me.

Speaking of new music. I ventured out our Country circle and bought this album by a British Pop singer, Adele. She is AMAZING! If you get a chance, check her out or look her up on myspace, google, youtube. Its all over.
