Garth Brooks and Troy Aikman were in Fort Worth yesterday to dedicate the new "Child Life Zone" at Cook Children's Hospital.  Kids sang along with Garth and Troy and asked them questions yesterday.  The "Child Life Zone" will have pool tables, arcade games and even a professional recording and TV studio for the kids and parents to make their own music videos, songs and TV shows.  You can watch one of the children interview Garth Brooks and see the pictures here!

13-year-old Taylor Swift fan, Summer, and her mother were hit by a drunk driver on their way to Taylor Swift's concert in September and the two missed the concert after having to be pulled from their smashed SUV.  Responding officer, Mike Lowry, was on scene for the wreck and managed to get in contact with Taylor's representatives with the help of a local radio station, and Taylor promised the young fan and her mom backstage passes, meet and greet passes, and tickets to her next show in the area.  Taylor also sent some memorabilia to the girl in the meantime.

Carrie Underwood was on the Jimmy Kimmel show last week, and they debuted their brand new duet, which is a sequel to her smash hit "Before He Cheats."  You can check out their music video, "Before You Freak," right here!

Burleson native Kelly Clarkson's latest smash hit song ,"Stronger", has become an anthem for people all across the country and recently a group of young cancer patients and some staff at a Seattle Children's Hospital lip-synched along to her music video and posted the video online.  It quickly went viral drawing the attention of over a half million people, including Kelly Clarkson herself.  Kelly responded with this video thanking her fans at the hospital and tells them she can't wait to meet them.  You can watch the children's video here and then see Kelly's response video here!

Jake Owen was handcuffed and detained for a short time before being released with no charges after an incident Saturday night at a Steak and Shake in his home town of Vero Beach, Florida.  Jake tweeted a picture of himself at the time in handcuffs and sent out a few more tweets appearing to make light of the situation including one that said, "I had too good of a time on Cinco de Mayo."  Sunday morning Jake issued an apology for the incident, but no one is quite sure what he was actually in trouble for.  He was not charged with any crime and his publicist says the whole thing was a "misunderstanding."  Jake Owen was wearing an old man mask while eating at Steak and Shake with his family, and it is illegal in Florida to wear a mask in public.

Dozens of stars converged on Washington D.C. over the weekend for the White House Correspondents Dinner at the W Hotel.  One of the biggest stars of the night happened to by Tony Romo's wife and brand-new mom, Candice Crawford.  Less than three weeks after giving birth, she was there wearing a spandex mini-skirt, and a tank top with a bright yellow blazer.  You can see a picture of her and tony here!

Brad Paisley is back on the small screen, with his second appearance on the animated show South Park.  Brad tweeted this picture of himself sitting on a couch next to the main characters of the show along with the message, "Spent the day Sunday @Southpark.  You all might want to watch this Wednesday. So seriously."  Brad also promises his role in this episode will be much larger than his last appearance.  So tune in to Comedy Central tonight to check it out!

Tim McGraw and Pennzoil are holding a contest to find the new roadie to join him out on the road this summer as the official "Pennzoil Roadie." The winner of the contest and a friend get to come out on tour with Tim and Kenny Chesney on their "Brothers of the Sun" tour this June. The lucky two roadies will get to follow McGraw's tour bus in a van to different shows and even go backstage at the concerts to get an inside look into what goes on. Country stars all over tweeted their condolences and prayers for Dick Clark and his family yesterday after his passing.  Dick Clark was instrumental in the rise of the Academy of Country Music awards and a huge supporter of country music along with all genres of music.  You can see some of the tweets from the stars here.

Girls from across the Metroplex are picking up free prom gowns courtesy of the nonprofit group We're All About the Dress.

The organization has 3,000 gowns to give away this year and is expecting 1,000 more to come in. Even Khloe Kardashian donated items this year, although she's moved back to LA.

Girls who can't afford to buy their own prom outfits can pick up a dress, shoes, makeup, jewelry and bags, organizer Janie Wood said.

Last year, the group gave away 1,200 dresses.

Keith Urban is on his way to becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry.  The country star received his invitation during his "We're All For The Hall" benefit concert Tuesday night. Vince Gill and members of Rascal Flatts, The Oak Ridge Boys and Diamond Rio surprised Urban Tuesday night with the announcement he will officially join The Grand Ole Opry later this month, a revelation that clearly took the Australian country star by surprise.  The "All for the Hall" is his annual fundraiser in support of the Country Music Hall of Fame.  While accepting the invite, Keith admitted that the Opry has always been special to him.

One of the biggest nights will be coming to North Texas to be on one of the world's biggest stages.  The Academy of Country Music Awards are in Las Vegas every year, and will be there again in 2013 and 2014, but for the 50th anniversary of the show, they wanted a bigger venue.  The show will be moving from a 19,000 seat arena for one year to the 65,000 seat Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.  Tickets will be for sale to the general public and all of the biggest stars will be in town for the festivities.
