Singer Christina Grimmie was tragically shot after a concert in Florida on Friday night. She gained widespread recognition as she wowed the judges during season 6 of NBC’s The Voice.
Earlier, The Voice released a statement on social media on Grimmie’s passing. “We are heartbroken. [Christina Grimmie] is a loved member of our family. Our thoughts are with her and her family,” it read. “There are no words. We lost a beautiful soul with an amazing voice. Our hearts go out to the friends, fans and family of [Grimmie].”
