The teens have spoken, and Carrie Underwood was their pick for Choice Country Artist at the Teen Choice Awards on Fox on July 31.
Hosted by WWE star John Cena and actress/singer Victoria Justice, the Teen Choice Awards were held at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
Carrie took home the top country award after going head to head with Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt. The “Church Bells” singer heard of her win while she was onstage at the Big Valley Jamboree and tweeted a thank you to her fans.

In the Choice Country Song category it was Brad Paisley taking the win with a little help from his friend Demi Lovato on the single “Without a Fight.”
Kelsea Ballerini represented the country genre by rocking the red carpet and presenting choice TV Actor Sci-Fi/Fantasy award with pop singers Alessia Cara (“Here”) and Bebe Rexha (“No Broken Hearts”).
