Kix Brooks joins Ronnie Dunn for his new single, “Damn Drunk” — but don’t get too excited, because it’s not exactly a reunion.

Ronnie says Kix liked the song and wanted to help out. “He said, ‘Let me sing a harmony part on it.’ I said, ‘Are you kidding me?’ So I said, ‘All right, come on in. Let’s give it a shot.’ It’s that simple. There is no grand scheme to anything.”

The song is the first single from his upcoming album, which will also include a duet with Reba McEntire.

Brooks and Dunn and Reba will pick up their Las Vegas residency at Caesars at the end of November. (Rolling Stone)
