Chris Stapleton announced a new album to be released May 5, 2017. One of the tracks on the new album titled From A Room: Vol. 1, is a song co-written by Texas music legend Gary P Nunn. The song “The Last Thing I Needed The First Thing This Morning” was also recorded by Willie Nelson, released on his 1982 album Always On my Mind and reached #2 on the Billboard US Hot Country Songs chart of that year.
