Blake Tollison Shelton was born in Ada, Oklahoma on June 18th 1976.   He is celebrating birthday 41,  one tall cowboy that stands 6’5″,  his parents Dorothy, a beauty salon owner, and Richard Shelton, a used car salesman.

By 12 years old he was singing and learning guitar.   Blake’s first single was released in 2001  “Austin” spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and that was only the beginning of a incredibly successful career.
