Dr. Pepper Passes on Naming Rights to Frisco Stadium

Dr. Pepper has backed out of the naming rights for the ballpark in Frisco.   The contract is up and Dr. Pepper is out.  The Frisco ballpark and home to the Rough Riders will have a name change for the facility.  What’s interesting is the stadium will get a new name but fans will still see a Dr.Pepper presence at the ballpark.  The popularity of the Rough Riders and the famous stadium should not have any trouble find a new naming sponsor.

The Frisco team has a big fan base for a minor league baseball team and attracts half a million fans every season.
