State Fair of Texas Opens Friday: Do you know All the Ways to Save?

OPENING DAY Sept 29th:   Bring in bottle full 20 ounce bottle of Dansani (will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank)   or full 20 oz coca-cola bottle will allow you to enter for only $10.00

ANY DAY OF WEEK AFTER 5 p.m. YOU CAN SAVE:  Admission price only $5.00 with empty can of Dr. Pepper

TUESDAY:   Bring a empty Dr. Pepper can and get in for $6.00 admission – also discount prices on Midway rides

WEDNESDAY  Bring 4 cans of food (donated to North Texas Food Bank)  only $4.00 Admission

THURSDAY:  Multiple discounts on Thursdays – Bring in empty Dr. Pepper 20 ounce bottle get $7.00 Admission  also Senior Citizens 60 years and older get in Free and THRIFTY Thursday =  discounted Fair food, you don’t want a full size portions check out vendors they give you a mini size, perfect if you want to sample.  Look for a sign that food vendors are participating in Thrifty Thursdays

Kroger:  Instead of paying $18.00 you can buy tickets for $16.50 at your local Kroger store.

McDonald’s:  On the tray liners get coupons for General Admission only $5.00 and for half off kids ticket

MILITARY:  OPENING DAY is Military Appreciation Day,  Military gets in FREE that applies to Active, Retired and Veterans  MUST be Valid Military I.D   That DOES INCLUDE spouses of service men and women with a valid Military Spouse ID and children under the age of 18.

FIRST RESPONDERS:   Oct. 13th FREE ADMISSION for (Law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics and employees of other emergency services)  Must present a valid badge or ID from their department.  This free admission also applies to family members (limit three people).
