Two years ago (2015) it was a hot news story of the dog found wandering the streets of Charleston with taped tightly around it’s muzzle that her tongue was stuck between her teen and unable to eat or drink. The abuser pleaded guilty was sentenced to five years in prison. On Wednesday (10/11) he was denied parole. Also, in attendance at the parole hearing was anti-animal-cruelty groups and members from the Charleston Animal Society.
