Miranda Leigh Lambert born Longview, Texas and raised in Lindale, TX,  She was named after her great grandma Lucy Miranda.  In the sixth grade she was voted most likely to become a country music star by her classmates.

She has won two Grammy Awards,  23 ACM (Academy of Country Music),  7 CMT Awards (Country Music Televison)  and 13 CMA (Country Music Association) Awards.
