Company Catered Thanksgiving Dinner Sickened Employees

TOYO Tire Company decided to have a Thanksgiving Meal catered for their 1,800 workers but what started out as a nice meal turned into the sickening of hundreds of employees with some having to go to emergency room.  Officials for the Georgia Department of Public Health said in an email that they officially determined the illness was due to salmonella.   Workers who are out sick said they aren’t sure when they will be back MORE STORY:  HERE

 TOYO spokesperson statement:  “The health and safety of our employees is our highest priority. We are cooperating fully with health authorities as we seek to determine the cause of these illnesses.”
