Jim Nabors, who began his career as Gomer Pyle appearing on “The Andy Griffith Show” which eventually became a spin-off hit “Gomer Pyle USMC” which aired from September 1964 to May 1969. He was 87 years and died peacefully in his home in Hawaii on Thursday.
