Amazon received 238 applications to be bring the massive headquarters to their city. Amazon announced they bill build a $5 Billion headquarters and over 50,000 jobs to the new site. Houston and San Antonio also applied but did not make the Top 20 shortlist. Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Nashville and Pittsburgh were some of the other cities made the Top 20. More: HERE
“Getting from 238 to 20 was very tough — all the proposals showed tremendous enthusiasm and creativity,” said Holly Sullivan, an Amazon’s spokeswoman.
