According to the 2018 National Dining Trends Survey by Zagat, 43% would support by restaurateurs to eliminate tips, even if that means increase in menu prices. however 33% in the same survey are not in favor of the idea. Interesting 75% of the people said they have chosen a place to eat based on photos of food on social media. the study revealed that people leave, on average, a tip of 18%.
