A letter arrived to Michael Ryder that he has been approved for $360 every week in unemployment benefits — until the state learned that Mr. Ryder is actually a dog. The dog’s owner is attorney Michael Haddock told ABC 13, “Not sure what he is going to do with the money, but it should be interesting. READ MORE: HERE
Sorry doggy but the unemployment claim was flagged as suspicious and has been denied. Unemployment Investigation Administration sent a follow-up letter to the dog’s residence that said: “Unfortunately, Michael Ryder’s claim will not be allowed. I know first-hand it is rare for ‘man’s best friend’ to contribute financially to the household and that will continue in this instance.”
