Puppy Bowl Will Feature Pups From Hurricane Areas and a Sloth

Super Bowl viewership is estimated around 111 million, but not everybody plans to watch the football game.  Animal Planet has Puppy Bowl 14 where all the puppies featured come from animal shelters and many have come from Hurricane ravaged areas, (including Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico)   This year’s competition will also feature Shirley the rescue sloth as the referee’s assistant.

The 14th annual Puppy Bowl promises to be the biggest ever with 90 puppies participating in the battle to win the ‘Lombarky’ trophy.

One dog from Dallas Animal Services will be part of the show,  a terrier named Lucy
