Cinemark Bans Large Bags in Movie Theaters

Ladies love their large bags,  but after Thursday if your purse, or handbag is larger than 12 inches by 6 inches you will not be allowed inside the movie theater. However, there are two exceptions for medical devices and diaper bags.   Cinemark said that this move is to “enhance the safety and security of our guests and employees.”   Also, Cinemark reserves the right to search any bag that enters their building.

Beginning tomorrow, bags taken into the movie theater at Cinemark need to be smaller than 12×6 inches. There are a few exceptions.
