She was raised on her parents’ farm in the small town of Checotah. Most remember her when she won the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. She has gone on to release 6 albums and win 7 Grammy Awards, 10 Billboard Music Awards and 12 ACM awards. Her husband Mike Fisher could not help teasing her with a Instagram pic he posted about her “killer hair” saying:
