Four more states, including Texas, have reported E. Coli illnesses linked to romaine lettuce. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday said 149 people affected in 29 states with 64 hospitalized and one death in California. Florida, Minnesota, North Dakota and Texas have joined the list of states of E. coli illness linked to the outbreak. Romaine lettuce can last multiple weeks and possibly still be in homes, restaurants and stores, according to the CDC. Health officials have tied the outbreak to romaine lettuce grown in Yuma, Arizona, which provides most of the romaine sold in the U.S. FULL STORY: HERE
