Mich. woman fired for bringing laxative-laced brownies to co-worker’s farewell
The woman who worked for an engineering company brought brownies for a co-worker potluck party. There had been tension between the two women. Other employees learned laxatives were baked into the brownies, tipped off management and even the police were involved. The woman did admit what she had done, and was fired. The woman faces no criminal charges. No one ate the brownies. But if anyone had eaten the brownies it could have been considered a criminal act. The woman’s name has not been released. The company confiscated the brownies before they could be eaten.
