ABC Picks up ‘The Conners’ Minus Roseanne

Roseanne is out but ‘The Conners’ go on.   “The Conners” is the working title of the re-rebooted show. “Roseanne” was cancelled on May 29th and June 21st ABC announces the show will continue in a spin-off, and will not star Roseanne Barr

 “Roseanne Barr will have no financial or creative involvement in the new series,” ABC said in a press release.  In a joint statement on Thursday, the remaining cast members said, “We have received a tremendous amount of support from fans of our show, and it’s clear that these characters not only have a place in our hearts, but in the hearts and homes of our audience.”    In a new statement on Thursday night, Barr said she regrets “the circumstances that have caused me to be removed” from her show.   More STORY: HERE

When does the new show air? No date yes, but ABC said it will take the Tuesday 8 p.m. time slot with premier date ‘Fall 2018’

JUST IN: ABC will air a Conner family sitcom without star Roseanne Barr, the network has announced. The “Roseanne” reboot was canceled last month after the actress went on a racist Twitter rant.
