A digital marketing company in Minneapolis has a new policy called “fur-ternity” leave for employees with newly adopted pets. This new policy makes it possible for employees to work from home and adjust to a new ‘family member’ .
The plan was inspired by senior accounts manager, Connor McCarthy who adopted a dog and wanted time with his new puppy to settle into his home, his work from home was approved and that began the start of the new policy because the company said animals were just as important to their employees as human babies.
