A woman was killed Monday morning on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Witness told authorities a woman was walking her dog near a lagoon along the coastal resort, an alligator suddenly grabbed her and pulled her underwater. Emergency responders located the woman’s body, she was later identified as 45-year-old resident of Sea Pines Resort. Her dog was not harmed. South Carolina Department of Natural Resources are searching for the alligator, reported to be about 8 feet in length. MORE STORY: HERE
