20 stores in the United States and 31 stores in Canada will close. One store in DFW located in Irving at 3500 West Airport Frwy. Closures will begin Feb 1st 2019. Lowe’s operates over 2,000 stores in North America. Could this be just the beginning of more closures?!? FULL STORY: HERE
“While decisions that impact our associates are never easy, the store closures are a necessary step in our strategic reassessment as we focus on building a stronger business,” Marvin R. Ellison, Lowe’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
The other U.S. store closures vary from locations in Alabama, California, Massachusetts and New York, among others, the company said.
