From NWS Fort Worth:
“Hot and dry conditions will prevail across North and Central Texas through this week as an upper ridge remains in place. This strong upper ridge will begin to break down early next week and should allow a few cold fronts to slide through the Plains. While we won’t see a dramatic temperature drop early next week, we should see temperatures more in line with averages for this time of year. We may also see some increased rain chances across the region.”
