Taco Cabana’s parent company Fiesta Restaurant Group closed all the Pollo Tropicals in DFW in 2017, now Taco Cabana has closed nine locations in Texas and five in DFW. The company says: this is part of their “strategic renewal plan” for Taco Cabana. HERE are the locations that have been shut down.
- 568 Interstate 30, Rockwall
- 3232 E. Hebron Parkway, Carrollton
- 245 E. Interstate 20, Weatherford
- 2301 N. Tarrant Parkway, Fort Worth
- 5745 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth
Bad news for Taco Cabana fans: Nine stores are shuttered, five in North Texas. The remaining Taco Cabanas will be rebranded.

It will get just a little bit harder to get your Taco C fix. The closures are part of the chain's parent company's "Strategic Renewal Plan."
