“Arctic air is expected to bring very cold temperatures to the region this weekend and into early next week. How cold temperatures will get remains uncertain at this time, but temperatures could approach record low values. Winter precipitation will be possible Saturday as well as Sunday night through Monday night. However, there’s still low confidence in precipitation type at this time. Now would be a good time to start taking precautions to protect the four Ps: people, plants, pets, and pipes. Continue to monitor the forecast as details are refined throughout the week.”
