I remember on the air in Virginia Beach back in 1991 and having to relay the tragic news. Eight members of Reba’s band has died in a plane crash near San Diego. I can still hear Reba’s voice crack as she talked about how much she loved her friends. On her next album, Reba dedicated a song to her lost friends called “If I Only Had Known..”
