Seth Meyers Rebooting ‘The Munsters’ as TV Series for NBC

The Munsters show was about a family that lived on 1313 Mockingbird Lane of Herman Munster and his wife Lily,  son Eddie, Grandpa and Marilyn.  Herman was Frankenstein monster, Lily and Grandpa were vampires and Eddie was a werewolf.   Marilyn was the niece was the odd one out.   The comedy series that aired from 1964 to 1967 has has lived on in reruns for decades will now get new life from Late Night host Seth Meyers.

In 2012, NBC tried to get a new series off the ground but never became a series.   This new reboot will reportedly get a story line where the Muster family have to life in today’s times in New York City, currently in development stages.

There's darn, darn, darn good news for fans of "The Munsters."
