Shania Twain, 51, is taking on her first acting role, she will be starring with John Travolta in a upcoming racing film, Trading Paint. Twain will portray the character Becca in the movie, is about “a down-and-out dirt track racing legend” who comes back to the racing world and now his son is competing against him and joins a rival team.
Producer Andrea Iervolino said ” It’s well know that dirt track racing is one of the most exciting sports in the world, and it’s also one of the most dangerous,”
Crews have begun filming in Alabama; the shooting schedule runs through mid-September. This will be Twain’s film debut, Trading Paint will open in theaters in 2018. Shania Twain is also going to release of a new studio album, Now, and is due out on Sept. 29. This will be her first full-length studio album since 2002.
