A horrible tragedy occurred early Sunday morning and now the news has been released. A Houston police officer drowned in his patrol car, the reports said he was caught in floodwaters, escaped out of his car but was swept away. The officer, an HPD veteran has been on the Police force for over 30 years. He was patrolling when he got trapped in high water at I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road.
