Confirmed Bruce Willis, 62, is coming back to his role as John McClane for a new Die Hard film. The original movie Die Hard was released 1988 then followed by Die Hard 2 (1990), then Die Hard with Vengeance (1995), Live Free and Die Hard (2007) and most recently A Good Day to Die Hard (2013)

Director Len Wiseman said in interview: “The reason I say prequel/sequel is because I wasn’t going to do it without Bruce. I’m also not going to do it with Bruce being a cameo bookend gimmick. “Its really working into the plot, with the 70s having ramifications on present-day Bruce. It inter-cuts in a very fun, imaginative way with present-day John McClane.
