Robert Guillaume, Star of ‘Benson,’ Dies at 89

Robert Guillaume best known for the sitcom “Benson” died at the age of 89.  He also played the same role on  “Soap”  from 1977 to 1979, but his character moved on and a TV series spin-off began with the show ‘Benson” which aired from  1979 to 1986.  He was also the voice of Rafiki in the animated movie “The Lion King” and appeared in the movies “Lean On Me” and “North and South” Douglass. Guillaume died of complications of prostate cancer.
