An Alabama man who said he tripped on a watermelon while shopping at Walmart which resulted in a broken hip.  He sued Walmart and was awarded by a jury $7.5 million verdict in his lawsuit against the retailer.   According to court records he won damages after a jury trial.  The man said his foot became trapped in a pallet beneath the watermelons as he reached for one.
