Dallas would gain more growth and 50,000 more jobs if chosen from Amazon’s second Headquarters. The six deciding factors include: tech labor force, fiscal health, cost of living, college population, culture fit and state tax rank. According to a Wall Street Journal analysis published Tuesday. Amazon has outgrown their Seattle headquarters, and has been looking for the right place for their second headquarters. Dallas is top contender among 12 other cities but also on the list is Boston, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
North Texas’ big college population, large tech labor force, low cost of living and lack of a state income tax are reasons the region could land HQ2.
