DART Officer Brent Thompson’s family has suffered an another tragedy.  On Monday the 19-year-old son died on apparent suicide.  Corsicana police found William Thompson, 19, dead of self-inflicted gunshot wound early Monday at a park.  His father Brent Thompson was one of five officers killed in the deadly July 7, 2016 police ambush in downtown Dallas.  Sadly, William Thompson called 911 about 4 a.m. Monday and said he was planning to kill himself.
