Kate McClure, 27, ran out of gas on the I-95 in Philadelphia. She had no money but what happened next changed her life and the life of a homeless veteran Johnny Bobbitt, 34, approached her on the side of the road. He told her to lock her door and walked several blocks to use the only money he had $20.00 to fill a can with gas and brought back to her car. She had no way to repay him, but returned several times to bring him clothes, food and money. She decided to tell the story on a GoFundMe page which as of Thursday Afternoon is past $254,000.
These two prove that you can still count on the kindness of strangers.
