Dallas No Longer the Happiest City in the U.S.

In 2013  the city of Dallas was number one in 2013 from a poll by Harris Interactive when Dallas was named the happiest city in America.  GuideLive has reported there has been a change and it’s as big as Texas. Dallas fell hard and in the November 2017 issue of National Geographic  has crowned BOULDER, COLORADO  as the Happiest city in America.

Followed by No. 2  SANTA CRUZ-WATSONVILLE, CA,  No. 3  CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA   No. 4  FORT COLLINS, COLORADO,   No. 5  SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA

Oh, how the mighty have fallen in four years.

And Anchorage, Alaska ranked No. 10,  and surprisingly Honolulu, Hawaii was No. 15……  Dallas,  didn’t even make the Top 25.   One City in Texas did make a mark in the Top 25 and that was Austin.   AUSTIN???!!!!

What determined the number one? According to National Geographic,  Boulder has clean mountain air, more people walk to work than any other city in the U.S. and another factor is low rates of smoking and obesity, and high rates of exercise.
