Fox4News has reported that many consumers have noticed the solicited calls / robocalls have increased. Annoyed? You are not alone Americans get 2.5 Billion a month. According to Patrick Webre, chief of the FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau. “We’re empowering phone companies to actually block calls before they even reach a consumer phone.”
What’s next for you to do to prevent these type of calls?
1) Utilize the call blocking features on your cell phone
2) Make sure your phone number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. Although this measure won’t stop all scammers but it will help to decrease unnecessary calls.
3) Check out the cell phone apps that block illegitimate robocalls for you.
