Apple Apologizes for Slow Down iPhones, Reducing Price of New Batteries

Apple released a statement on Thursday apologizing to users for intentionally slowing down older iPhones,  so they offered a remedy they will lower the cost replacement betteries —- from $79 to $29.    READ MORE:  HERE 

Three iPhone users from North Texas have joined the lawsuit,  saying Apple should have admitted sooner about software updates slowed down older smartphones.  Residents of McKinney, Dallas and Grand Saline filed the lawsuit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in Sherman.

 

"We know that some of you feel Apple has let you down. We apologize."
