Texas Teen Sold His Steer for $200,000 at Ft Worth Stock Show

Ben Benzer, 17, of Texline, TX  sold his European Crossbred steer named ‘Mufasa’ to Hillwood Properties on Saturday at the Fort Worth Stock Show sale of champions.  Mufasa, weighing in at 1,329 pounds, earned the prestigious grand champion title.  Mufasa was among a field of 3,600 junior steer entries in this year’s show.   More Story: HERE
“It’s something I’ve worked toward, my whole life,” Bezner, 17, said as cameras crowded around him. “I feel like I won the Super Bowl.”
