Dog Dies When Flight Attendant Forces into Overhead Bin

Monday evening a woman, her two children and her French bulldog were traveling from Houston to New York’s LaGuardia, she was ordered by the flight attendant to put her dog in the overhead storage compartment.  According to the airline’s website, pets are allowed on most flights within the U.S. In-cabin pets must travel in approved kennels that can fit completely under the seat.  More Story:  HERE

United Airlines Statement:   “This was a tragic accident that should never have occurred, as pets should never be placed in the overhead bin.  We assume full responsibility for this tragedy and express our deepest condolences to the family and are committed to supporting them….”

United Airlines called the dog's death on the New York-bound flight a "tragic accident that should never have occurred."
