Remember back in November 2017, Kate McClure ran out of gas on I-95 Philadelphia, she had no money, but homeless man Johnny Bobbitt helped her with his last $20, she found out he was a veteran (Former Marine and first responder) and her and her boyfriend started a GoFundMe page. After the story went viral and covered nationally by many TV Networks, donations poured in over $400,000 within a week. Now, the man is back on the street, homeless. Why? Because according to Bobbitt the couple only allowed for him to have HALF of the GoFundMe money, and they held the rest.
COUPLE’s SIDE of the story: They were withholding the money for Bobbitt, who they said has irresponsibly spent the money he received. The couple said once Bobbitt is off drugs and working, they will give him the rest of the money. FULL STORY: HERE
