The Pittsburg, Texas native reflects on his journey from his small hometown to touring the world, as his gritty brand of country rock has earned him both critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. “It used to be about having a good time, making rent, making gas money to get to the next show,” Wetzel reflects. “And now it’s completely different.
