Sir Ringo Starr recently wowed audiences at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium with a two-night stand featuring hits from throughout his legendary seven-decade career. A new clip from the show features the 84-year-old Beatles drummer joined by Sheryl Crow, Molly Tuttle, and Mickey Guyton on his 1971 hit, “It Don’t Come Easy,” which promotes his upcoming TV special, Ringo & Friends at the Ryman, which airs on March 10 on CBS and Paramount+.  The two-hour broadcast is a celebration of Starr’s musical legacy with a country music twist. T Bone Burnett curated the event, which features special guests Rodney Crowell, Jack White, The War and Treaty, Jamey Johnson, Larkin Poe, Billy Strings, and Sarah Jarosz joining Ringo on his solo hits, Beatles classics, and songs from his recently released country album, Look Up. “It is always a thrill to play the Ryman and this time we are going country!” said Starr in a press release. “T Bone has put together a great show. It was two nights of peace, love and country music.” (People)
