Shaboozey‘s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” remained in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for a 32nd week, extending the longest residency since the chart was first established 1990. Shaboozey’s crossover hit long surpassed Dustin Lynch‘s previous record of 28 straight weeks in the Top 10 for “Thinking ‘Bout You” (featuring MacKenzie Porter) back in October of 2021. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” currently sits at No. 6 on the Country Airplay chart, while also leading multiple music charts, including a 27-week run as No. 1 Radio Songs and 33 weeks atop the Hot Country Songs chart. It’s the third-longest-leading No. 1 since Hot Country Songs became the genre’s primary songs survey in 1958, after Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road” 34-week run at No. 1 beginning in February 2017, and Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line’s “Meant to Be” 50-week rule that started in December 2017.
